Mountain Prairie Homes
The Mountain Prairie style is rapidly growing in popularity and will undoubtedly be one that can endure the test of time. Defined by low-pitched roofs and often a more horizontal approach to design, these houses also capture elements of the renowned Craftsman Style that never seems to lose appeal. Because of the low-pitched roofs, this style can be a good choice for steep lots, where height limits are challenging. Another advantage of this style is that it often allows for the merging of Mountain Traditional and Mountain Modern elements into one unique design. This is sometimes defined as a Transitional Style of design.
